  I have been approached many many times by other vendors to change from first Choice Power. I have been with this company at least 40 years and I have not found any reason yet to change. Reliable, dependable service and customer service is always available. ( a human being)

With wind and solar energy available at our hands, and at a very competitive price, makes no sense to use other sources of energy which affect our planet.

  The devil you know is better than the devil you haven't met. I am very pleased with the rate Met Ed charges and when I compare it to the other plans available it is still one of the lowest one out there. The others give you a rate that draws you in but after the trial period it will likely go up! I have never changed and it is unlikely that I will change as long as Met Ed remains competitive.

Lower bills

  I have used Amigo several times over the past 5 years. My bill was always considerably lower with the bundled plan available with Amigo. I also signed my parents up and they are very happy with the drastic drop in their electric bill. the past two months. I would highly recommend Amigo to anyone wanting to lower their bill.

  This title suited our situation to the "T". Retired, therefore elderly, in good health still, but getting no younger, on fixed income. We were looking at about a 33-50% cut in our income, with energy bills continuing to rise. The options available to us for electricity were no options at all, the cost was too high after the first year. Were there no means of relief? Finally, we went to a website that compared all energy companies in Texas with all their differing plans. There we found a company called 4Change Energy, a company we nor our friends nor neighbors had heard of. But we checked them out,and found a plan the caused my jaw to drop; 1000 kwatts at 4.7 cents /. I called to confirm this was no typo, but legit, it was. the only catch was that I needed to remain at or below 1000 kwatts/ billing cycle or pay another 47$ for any amount over and above 1000. I was unsure if we could achieve this goal, but we signed up and did the best we could. raised the thermostat 2 or 3 degrees in the summer night, 4-5 during the day and installed a propane heater for the winter months, which is very economical. I have to give credit where credit is due, the LORD encouraged us and enabled us to see this plan work for us, we did, it did and we praise God for His wise council. We must thank god also that He showed us this company that has made it possible to maintain our reduced budget and not suffer undue hardships due to high energy costs. Thank you 4Change Energy, may The God of Heaven bless you if you will Bless Him.

  Reasonable rates, long plans, they seems weekly reports on your usage, so no surprises. Autopay available, paperless billing. That's really all I need. Love them.

Help with selection of Military rates.

  The Direct Energy Chat contact was able to walk me (an existing Direct Energy customer) through the selection of the available Military rates offered, and where the Direct Energy software left me at a dead end with no way to obtain the rate I wanted, was able to verify my Vet status and get me signed up for the renewal rates. The representative was polite, knowledgeable, did a Good Job!

  I've been with them for over 3 years, and don't plan on switching companies any time soon. I personally can't stand the heat and at my house the AC is on 24 hours a day, but my bill would never go higher than about $60 for my 2 bedroom apartment. I've been with them for over 3 years, and i've never had any issues or complaints. As far as for the rewards, I've ALWAYS received my reward (my favorite being my chickfila gift card).

2 years of 4 change

  I renewed in May ,2016 without checking all details ,just basics. I am really pleased 4 change picked up on my wants and I am really surprised at the plan I have ! I compare with friends with similar house size and family size and ages . I am proud to say my plan lets me "brag" about my bill . 4 change has been very easy to work with . I do not like "bad" surprises , and I have not had any with 4 change. Nice not having to worry about monthly bills. I kind of look forward to see my electric bill . I am total electric . Larry

My First Monthly Bill from Veteran Energy

I was anxious to get my first bill from Veteran Energy because it seems that every electricity provider is somewhat different in how the monthly billing statement is presented. I've found most utility bills to be pretty confusing. It seems there are always at least some surprises in the beginning until you figure out all the line items which comprise your total charges.

In other words, it's often hard to fully understand what you signed up for until you've already signed up.

Not so with Veteran Energy.

I happened to use about 1,100 kilowatt hours during my first month's billing cycle which made me automatically entitled to a generous credit under the plan I had signed up for. There were absolutely NO CATCHES WHATSOEVER. The bill was simple, concise, and honest with no "hidden charges" that I wasn't already expecting.

I've already received top-notch customer support from team leader Roberto (ext. 13272) and Lynn (ext. 3276). Roberto originally signed me up after thoughtfully explaining how everything works and Lynn later went over my first bill with me and explained all the different payment options available and helped me set up automatic monthly drafts from my checking account.

She even congratulated me on receiving my credit!

Lynn and Roberto definitely went over and beyond and I'm already spoiled. I wish more companies had such high-caliber professionals providing customer support.

I deeply respect that Veteran Energy makes generous contributions from their own profits to such a large number of wonderful organizations whose sole mission is to help America's veterans.

Because my cousin - Kenneth - was killed in Vietnam in the early 1970's, I chose the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) as my charity of choice.

I believe one would be hard-pressed to find a better electricity provider than Veteran Energy. **==

Good Service - Good Rates

  My husband and I moved from IL to Plano, TX in August of 2015. As part of our move, we were faced with a lot of choices regarding providers. In IL it's just ComEd, so it was difficult for us to decide on who to use here for this service due to the fact that everyone has different rates and in some cases a consumer may even pay a fine for not using enough electricity. What a joke! Before we signed up for this service, I read tons of reviews and called several places, as a result we decided to go with Champion Energy Services. So far, we never had any issues, no fees/fines that we incurred to date, the energy bill is predictable, they even send out weekly comparisons via email so you can track how much electricity you've used this week compared to last week. My monthly bill is pretty reasonable and very similar to what we paid in IL, except for in IL we also got an additional bill from the gas company. Here, electric bill includes my AC as well as heat, and is equal to what we used to pay in IL for just the electricity. Overall, I have no complaints so far and feel like we've made a good choice by using Champion Energy Services.

  I just renewed my plan for another 6 months. I wanted to extend my original plan and found out the original plan was available for a slightly less cheaper charge.
Nonetheless, haven't received any unexpected charges, the rate was fixed as planned.
The two were all I was looking for and was delivered as promised.

  I just signed up for my second year with Bounce Energy, and the pricing for this year stayed very close to that of last year. They have had some great promotions available, too - one was using the Friends Code which saved me $50.00. The code really did work.
I like this company because every time I have called with a question the phone is answered by a person - not a computer!

  I been with Champion for a few months now and I like how easy it is to pay bills and see what my usage is. Great rates which is why I switched in the first place and I have no complaints at all so far. Customer service is always available, courteous and helpful every time I call. No hidden fees. Everything you need to pay is right there in black and white on the bill. No new surprises every month like some companies.

  I switched from StarTex due to holding for 20 minutes just trying to renew my plan, then they offered me one of the highest rates available so I decided to shop around. Bounce energy gave the lowest rates with the option to have a month to month contract with no commitment! Make the switch I promise you won't regret it!

  I recently moved to Houston from a regulated state and at first, I was a little overwhelmed by all of the electricity choices available. Bounce Energy has made the switch smooth and effortlessly for me! I love the low rate (less than I was paying back home!), great customer service and the rewards I get for paying my bills!
