So far so good.
Switched providers because the old supplier had rates that were no longer competitive. There was a brief glitch during sign up. Ultimately, the old account was shut down, and the bill was issued with competitive rates.

Changing over to Constellation from scana was an ordeal but not because of Constellation. Constellation was recommended to me from a friend who has had good service from them. Scana, on the other hand, was a terrible provider, with NO customer service, non-competitive plans (in fact, I was lied to about the service plans available in my area ) Time will tell about Constellation but the prices were good and the service reps friendly and knowledgeable.

Someone screwed up
I signed up in early August. No welcome pack, no email. Finally I reached out and they said that the account wouldnt be switched until November 1st because the account number was keyed in wrong. In the meantime I am now without a fixed rate plan and will be paying for their mistake.

I do not have access to my invoices.
The order process was easy and fast. There is a good reporting/marketing promoting options. I cannot see what I pay per energy usage on the invoice, just the monthly payment. I get an error code when I use the View My Bill link. I get the same error code when I login via your home page. The error message states that I have no access to the data. I reported the problem twice. I received an answer on the first report which states Im successfully registered now. But I still dont have access to the data.

Scam - Weak controls in place for autopay
This has happened to me twice. Theres some checkbox that you have to select to ensure you card is processed. They dont tell you the checkbox isnt selected. They have a valid card on file and wont process the payment. They dont tell you the payment wasnt processed. They just add it to next bill and do not tell you anything. They will cut your heat off in the middle of winter and will leave you with no hot water for a over week. This is a not a reputable business and I wish I selected a different provider.

Poor Comunications / Customer Care
On June 13, 2024 I switched to Constellation via telephone conversation with Constellation sales person. At that time, the person reviewed my credit after I unfroze it for a day. He stated my credit was excellant (827). He said paerwork would be in the mail to me to complete and sign. The paperwork never arrived afte 11 days from call. Today, 6/24/24, I received a letter from Constellation stating my enrollment has been canceled!!! This letter was dated June 14, 2024 and was mailed June 18th!!!! They stated the reason was that they could not access my credit score (AES) from Equifax. In my opinion, this nothing but BS (why no call to me to straighten out problem? My credit score is excellant and Constellation sales repr confirmed that with me over the phone on June 13th. Their letter was signed "Constellation Customer Care" - I don't believe I received any "Cusotmer care" in thier letter.
Fortunitely, I found a more reliable gas provider. In the meantime, Constellation has lost a customer for life!!! due to this lack of care for a potential new customer.

Poor Comunications / Customer Care from Peachtree City, GA on June 24th, 2024
4 Hour 2week Application Process and still failed to complete in time - not worth the energy
Terrible phone only experience. Soft Credit check, Hard Credit check, copy of Drivers license and not a single email, web interface or paper mail trail regarding the process. 3 different reps. Called today to state i never got written confirmation - only verbal - only to find out they never completed the process !
They never called me back as they said they would. I was actually worried that it was a potential scam due to the lack of any documentation -provided by Constellation- during the process. I was the pursuer to get a better price, but in the end since they let me miss the deadline for a next-month cut-over decided that it just was not worth the time and energy and renewed for a higher rate with my current provider - GNG. They recorded everything but I sincerely doubt that they ever listened else, they would modernize their process. It is easier to buy a car or lease a 1,500 cell phone.

Called to cancel registration with Constellation, was confirmed but now its a mystery,,,
I signed up with Constellation on a state of Georgia site, shortly afterwards I called back as my current contract with GNG was not to expire till after the Constellation service start date. I simply called Constellation and asked may I start service after my contract date expired with GNG, they said no problem, we can start later, and they'd cancel the application. Now I owe GNG $150 and you have to jump thru hoops to get the $$ from Constellation.

As a former Constellation customer with 800+ credit score, I was expecting the switch back to Constellation to take just 5-10 min. instead, it took 10 days, multiple calls and emails. Web site needs work, a bunch of work
I have yet to be able to contact any one to set up direct billing - too many gate keepers, too long on hold, most of the help is very difficult to understand. And the web site is of no help. Have had to pay my bill as a guest. Oh, and I've had two bills so far: one for a partial month of customer service fee one for some bogus "new service fee" that I was not told about. I have yet to pay for any gas usage.

I recently had the unfortunate experience of dealing with Constellation, a gas company that falls far short of expectations in almost every category. From their unreliable service to poor customer support, there are several reasons why I would advise others to consider alternative gas providers.

First and foremost, the service provided by Constellation is notably inconsistent. Frequent outages and delays have been a common occurrence, leading to significant inconvenience. This inconsistency not only affects daily life but also raises concerns about the dependability of their supply, particularly in critical situations.

Moreover, the customer's experience is further undermined by unhelpful support staff. My attempts to resolve billing issues and service disruptions were met with long wait times and generic responses that did little to address the underlying problems. This lack of effective communication and support is frustrating and unacceptable from a service provider.

On top of the unreliable service and poor customer support, Constellation's pricing is often higher compared to other providers. Considering the quality of service they offer, the cost does not justify the experience. There are numerous other companies that provide more reliable service at competitive rates.

In conclusion, based on my experiences, I would strongly recommend exploring other options before considering Constellation as your gas provider. It's crucial to choose a company that values customer satisfaction and reliability, neither of which are evident with Constellation. Make sure to research and opt for a provider that better meets your needs.

Ive been with them for almost six years
I have been with this company for almost six years and I regret it all the time. Of course Im locked into a contract so I cant change right now. They have turned off my gas due to a mistake on their part but instead of apologizing and getting my gas back on today, they will get it on tomorrow. I explained that I have a medical condition and that it is supposed to get down to 34 degrees tonight but nope, tomorrow. We are moving soon and I will NEVER use this company again!
