Horrible horrible energy company
| What else is there to say? Prices are extortion level high, customer service is horrible, I have all these third part energy providers who say they contract through peco calling me at all hours trying to offer me "deals" that often end up making my bill more expensive... Like Smart Energy, Just Energy... I was supposedly getting "unlimited" energy for 199 a month, according to the one lady I spoke to, and now suddenly my "budget" billing amount is back up to 600$ a month??? Ain't no way. These people are crooks who charge you whatever cuz they know they can get away with it. Worst energy company ever. | |||

Knowledge team needed
| I have contacted Dynegy several times as we are switching from Duke to Dynegy. I have never been able to complete any call, as the agent is not sure of an answer, or you can tell they are guessing. Today I called and asked how the billing would occur once we switch, they said to call Duke, they did not know process how I would be billed from Dynegy. I also called about solar panels in the past, they were not sure how S-Rec credits would work . Need knowledgeable person to help. | |||

Dishonest
| I just signed my second three-year contract with Discount Power Texas. It was supposed to come with Vivent security camera and smart thermostat. Vivent spent half a day at my home but was unable to connect the equipment. Since I was now locked into a long period of time with Discount, I called them back to see what they could do for me since I was unable to enjoy the "free gift" of Vivent. The short answer, after 1.5 hours on the phone talking to three people in other countries, is NOTHING. They would not let me change my contract or give me a better rate. The escalations/retention rep finally agreed to issue a whopping $10 bill credit. They do not value their loyal customers' business and I will never renew with them again. I also plan to file a complaint with the Public Utility Commission of Texas. They have a Google 3.7 star review average for a reason. I will see how much I can lower that, because they people deserve to know that they operate in a shameful, unethical manner. | |||
